With the ever increasing cost of petrol and diesel the Government has created the 'Le site du prix des carburants'. Prices are updated at least once a week. You can see a list of petrol stations in your area and the current prices.

We have received a letter from the Embassy in Paris about AVIAN AND PANDEMIC INFLUENZA: AN UPDATE.

The cost of a British Passport has decreased from 4 October and the new cost is 164€ including return postage, signed for. For courier delivery there is an extra charge Note the Embassy will not accept personal cheques! Please refer to the Embassy in Paris for more information. But you can now pay by credit card, there is a form to download to authorise payment by card on the Embassy website Website link on the Links and Information page.

Welcome to our website and members forum
Get together Forum. If you have not yet visited our forum please look at how the forum works on the links and information page. This is important if you wish to register for it.
You will find all you need to know about GT in these pages and on the forum, we hope you will find this site to be useful and entertaining. Please look at this page and the forum frequently as information is updated regularly. You will notice that apart from the committee we do not publish members names and on the forum everyone uses a pseudonym, if you need further information on any subject please use the Contact Us page or you can send a private message via the forum.
You will now find under the heading Advertisements a sub heading of Situations Vacant. Entry for advertisers is free of charge, and any advertisement will be in place for 2 months.
We have created a 'Gallery' page, where you can display any work of art, for example photos, articles or paintings. Just use the 'Contact Us' page to tell us you have something to display and we will contact you with simple instructions on how to get it to us. Don't worry, you do not need to know anything about websites, as we will do the technical stuff.
We can now accept sponsored advertisements from GT Members who are registered artisans to announce their skills and services. There will be a nominal annual sponsorship fee. If you are interested please use the 'Contact Us' page for your initial enquiry. Please mention the website when responding to advertisements.
We can now accept from members, details of non GT events for posting on the forum under the relevant heading, at our discretion.
A major change is that Sales, Wants and Giveaways will apear only on the forum where members, can post there own advertisements with value not exceding 1000€ excluding major items including houses and cars. These can be advertised on the website, we will make a small charge for all items over 1000€, and can include a photo. Use the Contact Us page for instructions and costs.
New page Help with French. Gives lots of information on courses and other teaching aids are listed.
Electricity and Gas prices. From the 1st July 2007 you can buy your energy from private companies. However, a warning from UFC-Que Choisir (the French equivalent to the UK's Which?) is worth repeating. The salespeople from the private companies will offer beneficial low introductory prices, but there is no guarantee that these prices will be maintained for ever. The main beneficiaries of these private suppliers will be large consumers, such as industry. In addition, if you change from EDF and Gaz de France, you can never change back, and even if you sell your property the new owners will be stuck with your choice of supplier. So in the words of UFC-Que Choisir don't be seduced by these offers.
I would like to run some features on restaurants good bad and keep away at all costs. So lets have your reviews, I'm sure you will have seen them in the UK press, so you will know what to write! Just received our first restaurant review, which you will find on the Reviews and News page. Now lets have some more.
If you have sold any items listed on the Forum under Sales Wants & Give-aways please let us know so we can remove them and avoid disappointing prospective purchasers.
